Science Club Constitution

Faculty Advisors:  Pam Gunnell and Natalie Yuktirat

Objective: The club will give students that are interested in science the opportunity to explore the California State Science Standards in greater depth.   Students will participate in activities that are extensions of concepts taught in science classes.  There is an end of the year field trip to the Discovery museum.  

When: Science Club will meet on Wednesdays after school from 3pm to 4pm.

Where: Science Club will meet in either B-9 or B-10, or the lab room.

Club Participation: In order to participate in club activities students must abide by safety procedures. Failure to comply or endangerment of self or others will result in removal from the club.

Field Trip Eligibility: Eligibility for field trips will be based upon Science club attendance, and performance on skills required for the field trip.  In addition students must have at least a C in all of their classes and have no discipline issues.

Fundraising: Students will be asked to participate in fundraising to support the activities that the club will take part in.
